All Aboard Santa’s Magical Sleigh
Give the little ones a Christmas to remember this year, by hopping aboard Santa's sleigh!
Head to Candy Cane Central on the Upper Mall (next to The Works) to find this exciting virtual reality experience – the perfect family attraction during the festive period. Once aboard, your HD VR headsets will ensure you enjoy a fully immersive 4D experience as we transport you across the globe (and even into space!)
Tilting forwards, backwards and side to side, the sleigh’s movements have been specially designed to take you on a real journey.
Hold onto your hats and antlers, this could be a bumpy ride!

Every Tuesday between 10am and 12pm, Candy Cane Central hosts a special SEND session for children with special educational needs and disabilities. This includes:
- The option to enjoy Santa’s VR Sleigh Ride without using the VR headset, plus free rides for carers accompanying children
- Lower-lighting and no music or unnecessary sound in Candy Cane Central
- No general public walk-ins, only pre-bookings
After your sleigh ride, there is also the opportunity to enjoy a short film and craft session specially chosen for children with special educational needs and disabilities
