In the UK, 1 in 10 women and girls canโ€™t afford to buy menstrual products and almost half of all girls miss at least one day of school due to their period. Today, on #InternationalWomensDay, we’re launching an initiative to offer free sanitary products to those who need them, no questions asked.

Simply visit the information desk on the lower mall, or ask any member of our team and we will provide you with a FREE discreet bag. If you prefer, ask for a โ€œ๐‘ƒ๐ด๐ถ๐˜’๐ด๐บ๐ธ ๐น๐‘‚๐‘… ๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ธ๐‘โ€ and our team will know what you mean.

If you’re wondering “why Ellen?” Ellen Wilkinson was a suffragette, women’s rights campaigner, and the first female Education Secretary in the British cabinet, as well as a proud Mancunian woman!
