Entertain the whole family as you step into Immersive Gamebox and experience their hyper immersive adventures. Select from their range of kid friendly games from Angry Birds to Shaun the Sheep and prepare to enjoy a truly unique immersive experience. With motion tracking, projection mapping, touch screens and surround sound, Immersive Gamebox is like nothing you have experienced before!
At Urban Playground you have the choice of two family-fun activities. Team up and try and beat The CUBE as a family (ages 9+) or compete against each other and see who can get the most holes in one at Putters (ages 5+). Once the little ones have worked up an appetite you don’t have to travel far for some tasty food. Located inside Urban Playground, indulge in tasty burgers at The Butcher. And with their ‘Little Butcher’ menu, there’s plenty of sweet and savoury options for the kids.
The Arndale is home to a range of kid friendly toy stores such as The Entertainer and The Lego Store. Visit Build-A-Bear where your little one can build and personalise a fury best friend so it’s unique and special to them. Choose everything from the body and clothes to the sounds and scents. There are plenty of furry favourites to choose from as well, such as Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter and Pokémon characters. Give your bear a name a receive a birth certificate before taking your bear to its new home.
With their wide range of children’s books for all ages, Waterstones often host character and story events in-store where kids will get the chance to listen to their favourite books being read, meet and snap a photo with the characters. After all that fun, your little ones will have worked up an appetite. Good thing we have a vast range of family-friendly restaurants with tasty food options that will keep that smile on their faces. With children’s menus available at Slim Chickens, Doner Shack and more, both you and the kids can sit back and tuck into some good old food and drink.
The Arndale hosts free family friendly events inside the centre throughout the year creating free activities to keep the little ones entertained over the school holidays.
