Rework, restyle, recycle and do good all in one weekend!
Wardrobe feeling a little… meh? Looking for new ways to get creative with your style? Reimagine Your Fashion is coming to Manchester Arndale on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July and it’s set to be a fun, hands-on weekend celebrating personal style, smart choices and sustainable ideas.
Whether you’re into upcycling, love a styling session or just fancy doing something different in the city, there’s something for everyone. Expect creative workshops, curated fashion rails, live styling tips and a chance to give your pre-loved clothes a second life.
It’s all happening in Exchange Court and is totally free to join.
Here’s what to expect…
REWORK: Free Workshops!
You know that pair of jeans you love but ripped on a night out? Or that tote bag that’s seen better days? Don’t toss them – transform them!
Over both days, we’ll be running hands-on upcycling workshops where you can learn how to turn old into gold. From patchwork denim makeovers to scrunchie making, custom tote design and more – this is your sign to stop binning and start DIY-ing.
No need to be a sewing pro – the workshops are beginner-friendly and designed to be relaxed and creative. All tools are provided, so just bring along any pre-loved items you’d like to transform and give it a go. See our workshops below…
Scrunch It Up:
Join specialist fashion maker for a hands-on workshop that boosts your sewing skills and creative confidence. Learn how to make a stylish
scrunchie from scratch using repurposed fabric scraps and recycled materials. You’ll pick up practical techniques you can use again and again, whether you’re crafting unique gifts or tying up your hair in style.

Totes and Tees:
Give your tote bags and tees a 2025-worthy glow-up! Bring along a plain tote or t-shirt in need of a little zhuzh and dive into our stash of embellishments to make it POP. From hand embroidery and stitching to beads, bows and other eye-catching adornments, you’ll have everything you need to create something totally unique – and totally you.

Patchwork Pieces:
Time to level up your fit. Bring in your favourite garment from home and use our patches, patchwork pieces and recycled materials to remix and revive your look. It’s all about giving old clothes a whole new vibe.

You know when your wardrobe’s full but somehow you still feel like you’ve got nothing to wear? We can help with that! Enter our Restyle Zone – it’s part inspiration station, part real-life Pinterest board.
Join Rosie, the stylist behind Manchester Arndale’s summer campaign, as she breaks down the season’s biggest trends and shows you how to style what’s in store now! Every hour, catch a 15–20 minute style talk where Rosie spotlights some key summer looks straight from the campaign and talks you through how to style the perfect summer holiday, evening or festival look. Between sessions, she’ll be on hand for quick-fire styling tips, outfit advice, or to answer any of your fashion questions.
Plus, learn how to refresh what you already own and mix it with key pieces from your favourite Manchester Arndale retailers. We’re talking curated rails from Levi’s, Superdry, Nike and more – all with a sustainable spin.

RECYCLE: Do Good, Feel Great
Let’s be honest, we’ve all got that bag of clothes sitting at the back of the wardrobe waiting for a second chance. Well, this is it.
Swing by our donation drop-off point and pass on your clean, pre-loved clothes to two brilliant local charities doing vital work right here in Manchester:
MASH, who support women involved in sex work and those facing homelessness or gender-based violence.
Mustard Tree, who work to prevent homelessness and tackle poverty across Greater Manchester.
Your clothes could be someone else’s fresh start – now that’s a wardrobe win.
