Sephora strives to make each store launch even better than the last. To create a fairer and more inclusive experience they’ve changed the way to win a goodie bag.

There’s no need to arrive early or start queuing the night before to enjoy the fun – the celebrations will be happening all day long. So get a good night’s sleep and we’ll see you bright and fresh for a morning of beauty, music and more.

How do I have a chance to win a prize?

All you need to do is purchase something in-store on the opening weekend (1 – 3 August) to receive a Sephora Beauty Bonus Card with a 1 in 2 chance of winning. Scratch off your card at the tills in-store and see if you’re a winner.

There are plenty goodie bags are up from grabs, plus other exciting prizes. There’s no minimum spend and they’ll be limited at one per person even if you have multiple transactions.

I have a Sephora Beauty Bonus Card – why didn’t I get a prize?

It might not be your lucky day! While there’s a 1 in 2 chance, not all Sephora Beauty Bonus Cards are winners.

What floor is the Sephora store?

The new Sephora store is located on the Lower Mall of Manchester Arndale.

How do I get to Manchester Arndale?

Manchester Arndale is located in the heart of Manchester city centre, just a short walk from Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. You can also access the centre via bus, car and tram (the Exchange Square stop will take you directly outside the queue starting point).

Where can I park?

Manchester City Council operate the car park directly next door to the centre. Visit https://www.manchester.gov.uk/ for more information.

What time does Sephora open?

Say hello to Sephora 7 days a week! Open 9am – 8pm Mon-Fri, 9am – 8pm on Saturdays, and 11:30am – 5:30pm on Sundays.

On opening day (Friday 1st August), music and entertainment will start from 8am with the official Sephora Manchester Arndale opening ceremony beginning at 9:30am. The store itself will open at 10am.

Sephora Manchester Arndale Opening Events

What time will the store open on 01/08

The queue will open at 7am from Manchester Arndale’s main entrance on Corporation Street, also known as the Exchange Square entrance.

Music and entertainment will start from 8am with the official Sephora Manchester Arndale opening ceremony beginning at 9:30am. The store itself will open at 10am.

Celebrate with refreshments, all day entertainment, Pro Sessions, DJ’s, spin to win and loads of queue freebies. Can’t make it to opening day? There’s lots more beauty to be discovered throughout the week.

What time are the Pro Sessions on 01/08

You’re in luck with Sephora’s line-up of Pro Sessions from some of their fave beauty brands. Tune in at 1pm for styling essentials with Indewild, 3pm for glow tips from NARSissist, and 5pm for Sephora Collection.

They’ll also be all day entertainment with the city’s finest performers, refreshments, treats and in-queue surprises. If you can’t make it to opening day, don’t worry there’ll be a line-up of Pro Sessions throughout the week.

What time are the Pro Sessions the rest of the week?

Sephora are bringing you a week filled with Pro Sessions from their most iconic brands.

On 02/08 join the Sephora team at 1pm with Merit, 3pm with Dr. Dennis Gross, and 5pm for Sephora Collection.

Last but not least, join Sephora at Manchester Arndale on 03/08 at 1pm for Sephora Collection, 3pm for Marianila Stockholm, and 5pm for exclusive to us and loved by all Tower 28 Beauty. Expect tips, treats and more.

What time can I join the queue to enter the Sephora store?

You cannot queue overnight at Manchester Arndale – internally or externally. Queuing will NOT be permitted any earlier than 7am, the day of the store opening. Please come to the Arndale’s main entrance on Corporation Street also known as the Exchange Square entrance (Near Next). What3words: ///little.wiped.noisy.

For your safety and to enjoy the entertainment, please do not arrive before 7am. If you’re coming with friends, please arrive together or meet up with your group before joining the queue.

Can I leave the queue?

We do not recommend leaving the queue, as Manchester Arndale and Sephora take no responsibility for reserving your space.

Can I bring anything with me into the queue?

Please do not bring any items into Manchester Arndale that you cannot take into the Sephora store. Sephora will not permit items such as, but not limited to, camping chairs, sleeping bags, large rucksacks or any other large items. Security will remove any items left unattended on the Mall.

Will there be overnight queuing?

For your safety, accessibility and enjoyment, there will be no queuing overnight internally or externally. Please join the queue no earlier than 7am on the 01/08 to experience refreshments, entertainment and beauty magic.

How do I get in the queue?

The queue will open no earlier than 7am on the 01/08. Please join queue at the Exchange Square main entrance on Corporation Street.

If you’re coming with friends, please arrive together or meet up with your group before joining the queue.

Where are the nearest toilets?

The nearest accessible toilets are located on the lower mall in Exchange Court. There are also larger, private toilets at all three of the main toilet facilities. These are accessed via a radar key, so if you do not have your own please ask a member of staff. Manchester Arndale also has a Changing Places facility, please ask a member of staff if you need to use this.

Will there be loud noises when the store opens?

There will be live acts throughout the day, such as DJ sets and demonstrations. Sephora hopes to roll out a quiet hours scheme in the weeks following the opening, which will run a few times a week. Please do check on Sephora’s official channels for updates on this scheme.

Is there any help for those with disabilities?

For those with accessibility needs or disabilities, or for those who cannot stand for long periods of time due to a condition, there will be a separate accessible queue in the lead up to the opening ceremony, as well as ongoing through the opening weekend. Please make yourself known to a member of security or one of the wellbeing officers who can assist you further.

While Sephora will strive to operate on trust and inclusivity, in some cases customers may be asked to present proof of eligibility. This helps ensure the fair and consistent use of accessible services. To ensure you have a smooth experience on the ground, Sephora recommends bringing forms of identification such as:
