Halloween In the City

Mark the arrival of Halloween with a weekend of monstrously good events across the city centre and inside Manchester Arndale.

A massive monster party is about to hit the city’s streets – starting with a giant rooftop monster invasion. If you’re heading into the Arndale, look out for The Goofs peering over the top of Next at the Exchange Square entrance.

Walk the Plank’s monster parade will journey through the Arndale and onto Market Street at various points throughout the weekend, bringing monsters and music together to entertain the whole family.

Children can find out mind-bending facts about monsters, get close to them and experiment in The Monster Lab at Exchange Square, or explore the eerie ruins of Dr Mancenstien’s Castle and Gardens in St Ann’s Square – where the gardens and family cemetery will be home to dragons, crows, creepy groundskeepers and man-eating plants.

You’ll be able to join a monstrous photo trail across the city centre, with eight locations including the chance to become a monster on the skyline of Manchester when visiting Manchester Arndale.

Finally, let the kids be entertained by the Arndale’s own Monster and Mad Scientists throughout the weekend. Our super-friendly monster will also be collecting donations for our fantastic local charity, Cash for Kids, so if you have a little extra to give to disadvantaged children across Greater Manchester we’d be most grateful.

Dress up, join in – get gruesome!
