LUKE and LUCY-JANE
Friends Luke and Lucy-Jane are both content creators living in Manchester. Lucy-Jane loves to mix up her style and isn’t afraid to go bold; “People don’t care what you wear in Manchester! I’ll put something on that is a bit ‘out there’ and everyone will compliment it, you won’t get that anywhere else.”
Luke is no stranger to individual style either; “I’ve walked around the city streets in a massive puffy dress and no one has batted an eyelid. It’s so good to be able to be myself in Manchester and as part of this campaign.”
Follow them on Instagram at @lucyjane.fashion and @lukeheywoodstyle for incredibly colourful, empowering fashion inspo.

FRED & EMILY and VINYL NOIR
We grabbed five minutes with Fred and Emily before he headed out on location at New Islington Marina. Fred is a local musician in a band called Dr Dr, as well as working part-time at All Saints in the Arndale. “I was excited to take part in the campaign, I’m from Collyhurst where not many people dress the way I do! It’s great to take part in a campaign that champions this individuality.” Follow Fred’s musical talents on Instagram on @drdr_uk
Emily moved to Manchester to start her dream job in advertising and loves the vibrancy and inclusivity of the city. “My style is constantly evolving which is what I love about clothing. However you feel, whatever the occasion, there’s an outfit to either match or help to alter your mood.” We love how she chooses to clash patterns and colours to create her bold looks.
Vinyl Noir is one of the city’s much-loved drag performers and entertainment hosts. She is originally from Sheffield but believes her style started in Manchester. “I already enjoyed fashion and pairing different outfits but I never felt I could fully express that where I grew up. Moving to Manchester has allowed me to feel confident going to work in a skirt, bodysuit or dress. I can do whatever I want and it’s a great feeling!” Follow @thevinylnoir on Instagram for updates on her performance locations and incredible outfits.

Nxdia is a musician, English and Arabic alt/punk pop musician. They pride individualism when it comes to personal style. Nxdia believes Manchester, music and fashion go together. “Anyone who is a musician or in the arts knows how intrinsic style is to representing what you’re doing, it’s a massive part of it.” Follow @nxdiamusic for updates on their music and the natural style inspo that comes with it.
Chloe is a style, lifestyle and food content creator based in Manchester. You’ll find her hopping round the city streets under @unwrittenchloe on Instagram – we absolutely love her use of neutral statement pieces, bold patterns and pops of colour.

ALEEMA & TAJ and REGAN
Aleema and Taj are cousins and make up two thirds of the @spicethestyle content creator group, along with their other cousin. As they describe it, they are ‘cousins sharing modest outfits’ and use their social channels to inspire others with their individual choices. They have amazing taste when it comes to muted casual outfits, as well as some impressive statement dresses and tailored pieces.
Regan is Manchester born and bred and when he’s not playing football, he’s knocking about in ‘cargo pants and hoodies’ most of the time. Regan loves the casual look and is a self-confessed trainer addict. His collection includes ‘many’ from Nike’s Air Jordan range and he loves to pick up limited-edition and unusual trainers from the likes of Kick Game.
