Posted 5 months ago | In What we're loving this month...March at Manchester Arndale
March in Manchester hits differently. There’s the first glimpse of Spring, brighter evenings and the feeling that something new is about to land. If you’re searching for Mother’s Day gifts in Manchester, looking to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, or planning a spring shopping trip in the city centre, consider this your little nudge in the right direction.
Mother’s Day in Manchester
Whether you’re shopping for your mum, step-mum, grandma, auntie or the woman who’s basically your unpaid life coach, this is about choosing something that feels considered.
At Manchester Arndale, you’ll find everything from self-care picks to meaningful keepsakes. Think grab and go Mother’s Day skincare gift sets for the ultimate stress free gifting, or shop timeless pieces like mother’s day jewellery she’ll treasure forever.
And if you’ve left things a little late, don’t worry – there are still plenty of last minute gift ideas for mother’s day to discover in-store.
International Women’s Day 2026
International Women’s Day landed on Sunday 8th March 2026 and this year’s theme is Give To Gain. It’s all about the idea that when we give – time, support, investment and opportunity – we multiply impact.
In the spirit of “Give To Gain”, Manchester Arndale is making it easy for everyone to contribute. A donation point can be found at the information desk (inside Arndale House Reception on the lower mall) where customers, visitors and staff can donate women’s work uniforms and daily essentials. Donations will be accepted from 6th March – 31st March.
New Opening! Søstrene Grene Manchester Arndale
Consider this your official warning: your homeware era is about to begin.
Danish lifestyle brand Søstrene Grene opens at Manchester Arndale on Thursday 26th March, bringing its signature Scandi calm and dangerously affordable finds to the city centre (seriously, why is søstrene grene so cheap?!).
Expect soft pastels, minimalist storage, cute craft supplies, aesthetic kitchen bits and the kind of small-but-perfect pieces that somehow end up coming home with you.
Even better? There’ll be free goodies for the first customers through the door plus in-store activations to celebrate the opening. Translation: get there early!
This Spring Shopping
