With eight FREE Play Zones, games, performances and hands-on activities popping up across Manchester, it’s an unmissable event for families this February Half Term. Pair it with everything happening at Manchester Arndale and you’ve got the perfect plan for a fun-filled day out.

From creative workshops to immersive games and a bit of friendly competition, there’s plenty happening in centre to keep kids of all ages entertained this Half Term. Whether you’re popping in between festival events or planning a full day under one roof, there’s something for everyone to get stuck into.
Lush is bringing the creativity this Half Term with bath bomb making workshops running every day throughout the school holidays. Sessions take place from 12pm to 4pm and are drop-in, making it an easy, hands-on activity for little ones who love getting creative (and a bit messy).
On 18th February, The Entertainer will be hosting a Barbie-themed event in partnership with Mattel. While full details are still to come, families can expect a bright, playful experience inspired by one of the world’s most iconic toys.
For something a little different, Immersive Gamebox offers an action-packed indoor experience that older kids and teens will love. With motion tracking, projection mapping and touch-sensitive walls, it’s a chance to step inside the game and play together.
Urban Playground is a great shout for energetic families this Half Term. You can book in to play THE CUBE, inspired by the hit TV show, or take on a round of indoor mini golf for some friendly competition that works whatever the weather.
