Manchester Science Festival is back with a bang this year from 21-30 October, taking place at the Science and Industry Museum and in venues across the city, including Manchester Arndale. This 2022 festival comes with a packed programme of world premieres, inspiring experiences and entertaining events, all exploring one of life’s most crucial questions: ‘What does the future hold for humanity?’.

A brand-new exhibition will be premiering at the Arndale on 22 & 23 October with fun, musical moments for visitors to enjoy. Tune into the art of music-making with the team from Noisy Toys. Explore how technology and music come together to create the sounds of the future, feel the bass buzzing through your fingers, encounter unusual music makers and more in Exchange Court (outside Next).

Plus, don’t miss a beat as Global Grooves’ rhythmic robots take over the Centre with their carnival of sound parade at key times throughout the day.

Head to the Arndale and kick off the half term with a fun and educational experience for the little ones (and big ones!).

22 October: 10am – 4pm
23 October: 12pm – 4:30pm
