We’ve loved seeing you back in the city this past week! It’s great to see so many happy shoppers, friends and families out and about. Whilst our dine in restaurants and cafes are currently only open for takeaway or delivery, our stores are stocked up and ready for your visit.
As lockdown eases & some form of normality resumes, there are a few trends to keep an eye on. We’ve popped them together just for you.
Beauty
With ‘rule of six’ garden parties and drinks in beer gardens now in full swing, it’s time to be bold with your makeup again.
Swap out that everyday black eyeliner you have sitting in your draw for a bright, colourful, eye catching one that will accentuate your look in seconds.

Now nail salons are open, it’s time to treat our nails how they deserve to be treated with luxury manicures and patterned art. Spring 2021 trends show nail artists using fun, bright shades. Choose colours and patterns that are going to bring in the sunshine such as warm orange and yellow tones and swirls. Or if you prefer a more subtle colour, try spring inspired pastel tones such as lilac and mint and get artsy with some floral designs.

Fashion
It’s time to ditch the hoodie and slippers, spring dress season is upon us. Prints, such as tie-dye, gingham, spots and florals are everywhere this season. These dresses are perfect for picnics in the park and cocktails in your garden. Complete your look with a denim jacket, a pair of white trainers and a cute bag.
Check out New Look for their wide selection of dresses. It’s impossible to pick a favourite!

The men’s sections have it all too. With summer just round the corner, lightweight jackets and overshirts worn over a plain t shirt or polo are the perfect outfit choice for the transitioning weather. “Shackets”, a combination of them both of course, are a perfect example of how you can dress smart and casual at the same time whilst staying stylish.
Not sure where to find a shacket? Next has you sorted.

Garden
We’ll be spending more and more time in our garden with family and friends this spring. If this isn’t an excuse to decorate your garden, we don’t know what is. The simplest garden ornaments and decoration will make a big difference to your outdoor space. Making your outdoors an extension of your indoors is bang on trend at the moment. Why not try adding a few garden pillows, a garden rug or hang some fairy lights to light up your space in the evening.
