The ultimate IRL festive moment is arriving this December and running right through to the New Year. Head to the Lower Mall and step in front of our giant illuminated Christmas wreath – complete with a stage, lighting and a seriously impressive backdrop.
FREE printed photos and digital images will be available exclusively during our activation weekends (13th–14th December and 20th–21st December), when our performers will be on hand to help you strike the perfect festive pose.
If you visit outside those dates, don’t worry – the wreath is still in place throughout the season, and from the moment it’s installed you’re welcome to snap your own Christmas photos on your phone anytime right up until the New Year. If you want the full Christmas experience – sparkle, silliness and all the trimmings – plan your visit for 13th–14th December or 20th–21st December. These are our activation weekends, when the centre fills with characters and moments you can’t script.
At the wreath, you’ll meet The Christmas Disco Elves – bold, bright and unapologetically festive. They’re here to find your good side, loosen your shoulders and make sure you walk away with the perfect photo.
Roaming the mall, The Fairy OMG Mother and her street-style sidekick Sparksy are armed with magical wands (the kind that do contactless payments) to deliver surprise gifts, unexpected compliments and even pay for your shopping spree. One minute you’re browsing shelves, the next you’re in the middle of a giant, roaming pass-the-parcel.
And then there are The Blingo Christmas Stars – silver, sparkling and impossible to miss. Join their high-energy Christmas bingo to turn ordinary mall moments into spontaneous celebrations.
