Toilets & Baby Change

We have toilets and baby changing facilities located at four locations – Exchange Court (lower mall), Halle Place (lower mall), Wintergarden (upper mall) and the Foodcourt (upper mall). Please call 0161 833 9851 if further details are required.

We are proud to be a breastfeeding-friendly venue and we welcome breastfeeding in all areas of the Centre.

Multi-faith Prayer Room

Please note, due to the COVID-19 situation, the multi-faith prayer room is closed until further notice

Manchester Arndale has a private multi-faith prayer room situated on the lower mall opposite the Shopmobility unit. Customers of all faiths are invited to use the room for prayer, multi-faith worship or a quiet space.

To access the room, please use the intercom system to contact a member of the Manchester Arndale team.


Cash Machines

We have a number of automatic cash dispensing machines situated on the lower and upper mall area for the convenience of customers.


Tax-Free Shopping

Over 80 retailers in Manchester Arndale offer Tax-Free Shopping which allows overseas tourists who will be travellers leaving the European Union (EU) to get a VAT refund on goods they buy here and take home.

  • Shoppers must inform the store assistant you wish to use Tax-Free
  • Shopping when you purchase their goods and fill in paperwork at the point of purchase.
  • Stores cannot claim back for previous purchases, so shoppers must inform beforehand before any transaction goes through.
  • Some stores may also for photo ID or a passport.

Charge your phone for FREE

Please note, due to the COVID-19 situation, ChargeBox is unavailable until further notice

We have three ChargeBox phone charging stations, ideal for when your battery goes flat at the most inconvenient times.

The ChargeBox stations allow you to charge your phones for free for 30 minutes. The stations are located on the Lower level in Exchange Court (outside Starbucks) and in the Foodcourt. Please be aware there may be a charge for lost keys. If you have any issues using the boxes please contact 0161 817 3699.
